Stéphane Brutus is Interim Dean of the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, where the university is in the midst of a $400-million urban planning project aimed at better defining the environment surrounding its downtown campus. Through Quartier Concordia, the university is working with city administration, local businesses, organizations and schools to breathe new life into the community.
Brutus earned his PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1995 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, North Carolina.
In the past, he has served as Associate Dean, Graduate Professional Programs, Chair of JMSB's Department of Management and Director of the Bell Research Center for Business Process Innovation.
Brutus's research focuses mainly on feedback processes in organizations.
His research has been published in Academy of Management Learning and Education, Personnel Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management, Human Resource Management Review, and Journal of Business and Psychology.
Brutus also holds the RBC Professorship of Motivation and Employee Performance.
